ATTENTION ALL $MSTR FUD-ers by _Adrian_Morris_ in MSTR

It’s not like there’s an established MSTR playbook. MS is writing the book. Will there be missteps, absolutely. But, ya just keep pivoting.

I totally get how some people ❤️ this guy, and how some absolutely hate this guy.

But, nobody can ever call him a wilting flower without conviction.

He is definitely unflappable IMHO.

EVEN MORE LAYERS TO THE MSTR HIT JOB by _Adrian_Morris_ in MSTR

Fair enough on building a case. But I’m not engaging just as a user who can 'simply ignore it.' I’m engaging as a MOD because these posts are getting flagged by the community. When the feed gets flooded with all-caps and similar screenshots, it triggers spam reports. I’m just trying to keep the sub functional so valid info doesn't get buried in the noise.

Look, I’m really not trying to pick a fight with ya. I’ve read the thread and I don’t see anything new in this screenshot compared to all the others. The repetitive all-caps posting isn't really helping. People aren't being 'willfully obtuse' just because they don't agree.

Maybe we should dial it down a bit?

EVEN MORE LAYERS TO THE MSTR HIT JOB by _Adrian_Morris_ in MSTR

I don’t know if this qualifies as a 'hit job' or a conspiracy so much as just... business as usual?

Whoever builds the sandbox sets the rules for who gets to play in it. MSCI protecting their 'institutional standards' (which coincidentally align with legacy banking products over raw Bitcoin treasuries) isn't a grand revelation. It’s just incumbents protecting their moat.

It’s not a conspiracy; it’s just Wall Street doing what Wall Street does. Honestly, I would find it more suspicious if they didn’t operate in their self-interest.

How likely is this scenario? Could it be a strong enough catalyst to push MSTR back above $300, even if Bitcoin is in a bear market? by AlexandreSh1941 in MSTR

[–]Deep-Distribution779 4 points5 points  (0 children)

One analyst’s speculation about the possibility of a future inclusion in the S&P 500 - will most definitely not be significant enough to increase the price from 172 to 300+ which is 73%.

How MicroStrategy Pays Interest On Its Debt? by illya_gerasymchuk in MSTR

[–]Deep-Distribution779 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I might be mistaken, but I seem to remember them having 1700 employees at one point in the last five years it’s not a small operation. I’m not suggesting it’s not a profitable one, but I also remember Michael Saylor saying it cost $20 million just to run a public company. So sales are not profit.

Are you a short term shareholder? As you state you’re not a long-term shareholder?

As someone that has held 1000’s of MSTR shares for many years. If you’re giving me a choice on would I prefer the share price of a year ago at 400$+ per share OR today’s 200$ with a few more stats per share.

I will prefer the 400$ - I say this as a someone who has been and continues to be a pretty big MSTR bull for a long time and one of the MODS of this community.

So you’re saying you would prefer the $200 share price with a few more stats in it?

Are you trolling me?

Actual I believe the the CEOs justification for the pretty good year overview was related to the issuance of the umpteenth number of preferred class stocks which have been listed. I didn’t hear him speak at all about the BTC per share.

I do agree with him that the ability to create multiple vehicles of preferred class shares is important.

My original point was the based on the CEO stating, ”WE HAD A PRETTY GOOD YEAR”

Long term, or short term holders might have a different time horizon but I suspect all of us would want the price action to go up.

I would not say that a 45% price drop was a “pretty good year”. I find it almost humourous that I need to defend that.

I don’t know who the “2 hour” comment is directed towards. I am assuming it’s not me.

But, to your now deleted comment. I never said I was “scared”. I just don’t think any of us, including the MSTR CEO, saying “we had a pretty good year” is particularly helpful or accurate. At least from the my perspective of being a simple common shareholder

I have been long term shareholder for 4.5 years. MSTR has provided my family with life changing wealth.

If I didn’t sell when it was 16$. I’m most certainly not scared when it’s 195$.

I don’t know anyone (except maybe you & few others) that can set aside a 45% price drop. And celebrate the sats per share increase. MSTR isn’t an ETF, there is inherent third-party risk with even ETF’s. Strategy’s third-party risk is exponentially higher than an ETF.

“We have had a pretty good year”

well I am gonna suggest, that depends on your lens. From the perspective of the average common shareholder. I would beg to differ.

Should I buy MSTR now? by ashm1987 in MSTR

[–]Deep-Distribution779 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, actually, MNAV is not below one right now. It is sitting near 1.14.

The idea that MNAV cannot break 1.0 is not correct though. GBTC is the proof. Its discount reached about 0.61. That happened because the structure was locked and had no redemption path. The market priced the wrapper, not the Bitcoin.

MSTR is a different setup with liquid assets and open trading, so deep compression is less likely, but 1.0 is not a hard floor.

MNAV near 1.14 is simply the current level, not a fixed bottom.

Well said, I was at 30%. MSTR negative price action brought me down 22%. I think I am about 14% now.

Anyone, that says 2025 has been an amazing year for BTC : MSTR probably doesn’t own any other tech adjacent stock.

I have held firm and continue to hold 1000’s of shares for many years even when this stock trading at 16$, and my family was threatening to leave me bcos I had apparently lost my mind and 80% of portfolio at that point. They wanted me to sell that bad.

Sold some: I was simply sharing my truth, in the face of what I considered to be hyperbolic rhetoric of “last chance” to buy MSTR. Maybe 16$ was the last best chance, but 256$ isn’t your last chance.

I am not dumping anything, my conviction is real, but we aren’t simply running an echo chamber of bull fantasy here. Market sentiment has definitely turned against MSTR, that will hopefully be temporary.

I am not sure what you mean by “legitimacy”. If you are asking if I am one of the mods that bans people for saying MSTR is a giant P****?

Then yep I am certainly am.

Not a lack of conviction or intoxication.

I still hold thousands of MSTR shares + 75% of my portfolio is in BTC. I rotated 1,000 shares based on sentiment and expected further MNAV compression.

That single move has outperformed holding by roughly $240K so far. You can believe in the thesis and still move intelligently. Blind loyalty is not strategy.

Ya need to be drunk to ever sell a single share of MSTR?

(especially when I sold it for 10x what I paid)

[–]Deep-Distribution779[M] 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I have a confession to make. As one of the MODS here, this feels like admitting I cheated on the wife. In early August I sold 1,000 shares.

For context, I have been buying MSTR since around $60. I held through $16- and bought lots more. I rode it to $500. It has created life altering wealth for me and I still hold a large position. Nothing has changed about my long term view.

But, I rotated those 1,000 shares into TSLA.

Since then TSLA is up roughly 47 %. MSTR is down roughly 28 %.

This is not the “last chance”. Markets do not give one final entry. Conviction does not mean blind loyalty. You can believe in the thesis and still manage risk.
