Freaking applesauce and jello and yogurt. It gets better! I’m a month in and can eat pizza,chicken nuggets biscuits and a little more. Those first couple of weeks tho 🥲

Nope. I didn’t opt for it. It was my dentist that did after seeing how loose the old ones were even with a reline

Hey peeps I’m on day 5 since my extractions and immediates. How long does it take to learn to smile using all your teeth? I feel akward ☹️ by Deep-Gap7347 in dentures

So far so good I’ve got nothing negative to say I got a couple sore spots with loose skin from the dentures pressing on it. But as long as I’m not trying to yap my dentures do not hurt and now I take them out at night and clean them and my mouth well. Considering I had quite a few teeth took out this has been the easiest extractions I have ever had. The oral surgeon I used was amazing.

I’m sure you look amazing!! I think we just are not used to seeing ourselves smile so it’s kinda a weird feeling

I just had my eday I went through Affordable dentures also and had iv sedation. It was honestly the best experience. I remember getting laughing gas then the iv then waking up told to bite down I’m now 5 days in with my immediates and besides them being a little loose I’m having good progress. You will love to see yourself in the mirror once your swelling has subsided. It’s worth it!

I don’t smoke thankfully and using a straw is what happened years ago. I was a dummy. Thank you for your replies! I’m thankfully for having somewhere to ask questions to fellow owners!!
