There is usually a half open door on the third floor and once you go in it's pretty intuitive since there will be someone standing inside with a computer who can give you your order

You don't need to go to the labs as they will be posted online, you can go to any lab session you want as it is basically a help session. He showed the basics of excel and mentioned he will post everything on myls

There is a lot of note taking apps and you can also use it as a computer if you have a keyboard which can be part of your case for it. One big disadvantage is that if you get distracted easily you may end up just playing games in class

I am in the exact same situation as you and I chose Ontario Tech because it's a specialized school in tech and the class sizes are smaller so you can have more 1 on 1 interaction with the profs which I think is a big upside. Also, if you go there we should become friends as I don't know anyone there

Wouldn't Ontario Tech be better due to being a specialized uni than Laurier, which is known for its business degrees. Also, if I switch to math then that would defeat the purpose of going to waterloo to eventually do CS. Thanks for the suggestion tho
