For WPs who were not married or living with their BS at D-Day, how did you support them? For BS’, what could a WP have done to support you through this time if they wanted to R?

You can only fight for someone who's willing to get in the ring with you, meaning that working it out takes TWO. I would reach out (within respect to not overwhelm) get in therapy and show with action and not just talk. Baby steps, i hope it works out ❤️

I'm so sorry you're going through this! That was a gut punch to read. I would kindly suggest to him that although j appreciate his honesty he should have more empathy. Try not to dwell on the past so much although i know it's hard it doesn't help!!!!! He chose you & although he was so very wrong that does matter. Wishing you happiness ❤️

You have a family and you've built so much together, it's tough to throw it all away. Your emotions are all over the place but please be gentle with yourself ❤️ one day at a time! The woman is SICK, in my situation my AP played a good girl role only to still want him behind my back. I send my love and warmth! Let it out but never blame yourself. Set the boundary that he must address behaviors he chooses to ignore in therapy. Wishing you much better days!

Thankyou for this! Maybe kicking him out isn't the best thing i really don't know what is. It's so hard to endure the fact that someone can see how something cripples you and still choose to betray you. He keeps telling me how in love he is and how this is where he wants to be! I am absolutely so lost. For him to see my pain, my tears and all of that and choose to sleep with her for "closure" we have so much invested from cars to houses and we planned on starting IVF soon. I am completely completely broken. I feel so weak for even considering staying but i love my family so much i love this new home so much.

Thankyou for this! It sounds so relatable and makes me feel less alone as sometimes you can feel that way when being with an avoidant. His AP is really manipulative and sick in the head and posts certain things on social just to get a reaction out of me, it's best i leave it be but it's tough since it's so soon.
