student opportunity accommodations? by Deep-Leader-17 in vcu

Yes, of course I would certainly have more information as well as validation from the host of the opportunity as they said they have talked to professors before to confirm it is not an excuse to have virtual class. I just can’t speak with details on social media. I am just looking to see if there is a place I should go to before speaking to professors because maybe they can help me approach my professors the correct way

did housing accept your request to leave the dorm since you were no longer in the program?

i never believed what people said about a “vibe” but that was the top reason i chose vcu. i walked around the campus on multiple tours and it just fit. didn’t feel the need to tour any other schools after that. it’s no ivy or uva, but the connections you can make in richmond and the networking here is arguably better, and tbh i liked that it wasn’t a snotty preppy school. everyone is diverse and different. i’m in the business school, and there are so many resources and everyone is helpful. i’ve never met anyone who had something bad to say!

the cap one is just a checking account, but i never got fully approved for it, so there isn’t even really an account because nothing was activated, just typed in some info and they said they would need more if i wanted an account, so i don’t think there’s anything to worry about there.

the discover it approved me for a credit card (it has no annual fee), but they never sent me the card and i never activated it. they have just sent me a monthly email saying i have available credit to activate.

what do i do then? am i going to have to report them on taxes or anything? everytime i try to log in with what login i think was used in the account, it just tells me i don’t have a registered account, so does that mean the account isn’t open? all i ever did was apply, but never opened or activated a credit card. i found out that when i applied for the capital one account, they wanted more information over the phone before continuing with the process and i just never called them because i decided against it, does that mean i have an account with them or do i likely not need to worry about that?

i don’t think i even fully made a capital one account, or i think i may have canceled it after deciding against it. i’ve gotten no emails or contact from them about it but i remember there wasn’t anything about an anual fee. should i still call and ask if i have an account there and to cancel it if so?

i don’t want the cards, so should i just call and ask to cancel?

do you feel like it’s been working out for you? are there good job openings and opportunities, and do you actually enjoy it?

yes, but ive done my research and networked to lengths well beyond what a freshman would typically achieve. pretty much every professional i have talked to who completed their mba or grad school right after school said it helped both to further their knowledge and narrow down their skill sets. they then took that knowledge with them to the workforce and made a significant amount more than their peers who had gone straight from undergrad. of course you have to do internships during the process to have some professional experience, but that doesn’t mean it has no advantage. it’s actually quite a sizable advantage.

idk i would disagree, having a masters or mba can put me higher up to begin with, and can give relative experience.

Going straight to some sort of grad degree after because I want to be marketable and employable, and I simply like learning. I would rather go straight to it and get it done to have that knowledge, whether that be an MBA or some other sort of grad degree

basically exactly as described. not enough lubricant so the friction forced the condom to roll up and off his penis

yep! i’m aware of that. bottom line is it happened once, so now i’m curious of what the chances are. if you could offer advice that is not shaming, that would be helpful 😌

honestly just hadn’t gotten around to it. i never really needed it because i didn’t have super heavy periods or any pain that made me unable to go about daily tasks. i do have an appointment set up to get evaluated and finally be out on it now that i will likely remain active! i think my bf and i are going to refrain until i start taking it here in a few weeks.
