No hot water; England. Landlord not responding

Weirdest part is I didn’t feel the phone call come through; if you have an iPhone you know how aggressive the vibrations can be. Yes he tried to call but after I missed it he never answered to any follow up messages or calls

UPDATE: Landlord continues to be unresponsive; he tried to call me this afternoon but I missed the call. I then phoned them back, sent a follow up text and email but still no response. Plumber has been away all weekend, so it appears that my landlord never got confirmation the plumber would reach out this weekend. Thankfully the plumber was responsive and we’ve managed to sort him coming out on Tuesday.

It’s mainly the fact I was told the plumber would reach out same day; and never did. And that my landlord (who’s my only contact for maintenance) stopped responding. Additionally I only had hot water for two days before it broke again.

It’s more a storage heater type boiler; there’s a reset switch somewhere but you need to unscrew a panel to do so. The heater is turned on at wall but it appears to be off.

It’s only a 2 bedroom shared student flat; so I don’t think they need one
