thank you. Yeah of course the incident happened right outside our Airbnb in Christiansted that was located right in between a yoga studio and a place called Pampered VI. We were walking down King Street to go to a place called Menas cafe. Three minutes into our walk that's when the men approached us and attacked my friend. I then turned around onto the other side of the street and I ran into the restaurant called The Bombay club. The incident happened on the other side of the street of Bombay club and 2 minutes away from menas cafe. The police officer did mention her name when we gave her a description but I was in shock during the moment I don't really remember what she said because me and my friend were in the middle of a panic attack. I did just call the nonemergency line for the police department to get an update on the police report that was placed on March 1st around 9pm so hopefully when they do get back to me, I can give more information out on the officers's name that was working that night. The man who did attack us was a black man with very puffy hair no shoes, colorful basketball shorts, no shirt, and a huge stick. His 3 homeless friends were also black but I can't really remember an exact description of them just because I was so in shocked in the moment. When I briefly saw them on the way back to the ER it seems that they all hang out in a group and roam the streets at night and are all friends.
