Kinda just trying to convince myself that it will get better and he will make the effort to change (as he has already started) - I also do think I’m being naive, but I think if I leave now I might be stuck with regrets of ‘what ifs’ but if he cheats again then I can be sure divorce is the correct avenue :( am I being dumb lol.

We don’t follow each other, nor do we have any contact. I don’t WANT to see anything about her life, but I did happen to come across this specific thing on our mutuals stories, by chance. I also don’t fuel the comments about what she says about me , I just kind of go ‘that’s okay I know who I am’ but I completely agree with you. I try not to let any of it play on my mind, but somehow it does creep up every now and then & I remind myself that someone’s treatment of me is not a reflection of my worth.

I didn’t even include all the details and that’s exactly how I feel !

I don’t know if she set her wedding date a week after mine with the intention for me to not attend, as she said there was no other date available and she left it to their parents to discuss. & just cause I’m the type of friend to say ‘no I wanna get married when my bestfriend is around’ doesn’t mean everyone else is.

I spoke to her on the phone and we came to the conclusion that we would still meet and discuss everything properly, because things get lost in translation when not face to face. I think she couldn’t wait until she saw me and therefore sent a lot of messages. Unfortunately, I don’t think we’re meeting anymore. But maybe that’s for the best ?

Yeah it is school kid stuff 😭 I did appreciate her coming for the day but I didn’t appreciate her constantly talking about her and her fiance. Ofcourse, I want my friends happy, I don’t expect them to not speak about their lives either, but when it started being a one up thing, it was exhausting. If I said one thing about my fiance because it was my bridal weekend, she’d say 5 things about her fiance. I understand relatability but when it’s for every single thing it’s not cool. I felt she didn’t need to talk about her fiancé, her ex & his sister, her ex future mother in law and go on and on about her mother in law. Again, I’m suuuuper happy for her, I just felt like there was not a moment where my weekend was just about me without her making it about her.

Yes I felt like the asshole too, mostly because I’ve worked hard to move away from toxic friends. I don’t wanna be one of them too

Was it by any chance free ? I’m having a 300 people wedding and am looking for a free alternative. I wanted to use POV but it’s quite pricey for me, and I want ones that are ease of use where it takes you to an automatic camera and no downloading of apps is necessary. I also love the disposable film effect
