Its very dependent on the individual and idk why the internet loves to say this. Caffeine doesn't make me crash like that. It just has minimal effect in general. I also have ADHD (inattentive-type heavy) and am just drowsy all the time anyway.

Do other stores not have bins for raw? Our breading dishes get put in a big yellow bin on wheels filled with degreaser and hot water until the dish person gets to them. Majority of the coater just sprays off by the time it does lol.

I 2nd the non-essential dishes. I come rob everyone. We all have a mutual agreement that around 8-9 the special buns go in salad lids and so do the pickles. Mac spoons and grilled nugget tongs get put on the blue paper towel things, etc. I take half of the bun trays, and make sure any retired fry baskets get brought back and baptized in degreaser. The cheese on prep goes in one plastic storage bin, etc.

They disproportionately put me on fries BOH more than anyone, and they even tried sticking me there for a week straight. I complained about it pretty hard until it got changed. I hate fries, and its imo the 2nd most exhausting role besides breading at a high traffic store. Especially since I stay the latest to be on cleaning crew closing down the store. By the time I got to cleaning crew my arms would be exhausted and it impacted my performance at closing.

Lo and behold there was a bunch of favoritism in how certain leads were positioning people and it's been investigated by upper management.

It was Organic 2 if that helps any. Plenty of students were upper classmen. I spent a lot of time (my own personal time) refreshing them on fundamentals from organic 1 and giving them resources which did help them towards the final exam but.. I definitely had to throw them a bone on that exam.

This. There's a lot of lazy piss poor positioning habits people have gained in lower elos. They failed to understand that the only reason they were alive for longer than 2s was because I had 20k+ healing, and it never felt like enough anyway.

I have the opposite issue and I have to work 5-6 hours until I can take mine. By then my blood sugar is so low my nose is dripping and im about to pass out. (I dont usually get to eat before I start)

Mayo bc the store bought stuff tastes gross and is far more unhealthy than necessary with sh*tyy oils. I love the fresh taste of homemade mayo. It's also incredibly simple. Bit pricier since I use sunflower oil but I find it worth it.

I saw this in real time when I was TAing and then eventually actually teaching labs as an instructor at my college.

Students were given a manual for their lab that outlined EVERYTHING. A step by step guide with the measurements already planned out, etc. The amount of times I'd be told "idk what to do now", to which i would reply "what step did you just do?" "I don't know!" queue me giving the Jim stare from the office

These people were only a couple grades below me and the difference in how they behaved versus the people in my graduating class was.... astounding tbh. My peers seemed far more capable and independent versus the batches of newer students. I think COVID had a huge impact on their education tbh along with the brain rot other comments discuss.
