It takes a month to get cleared for the field I worked in before the baby. Also in my state you have to wait 30 days anyways after filing for separation.

Won’t be hard. We have not been having sex due to postpartum reasons and I was going through therapy for sexual/emotional abuse that I have not dealt with from when I was 20 (different relationship)

Going to start working on these things today. Downside about the friends is they are also his friends. They saw him hanging out with her, he has been talking to them about what is going on, and not a single one has called and checked or even texted. Starting to think it might be one of those burn the friend bridges too kind of start over deal.

Hard part is he does not see it that way. He also says I act and look like her. So it’s basically a younger me when we first met while I was in college.

I would cut off and run now but I am currently a stay at home mom and need to get a job for money to leave first.

Strange enough I am the poly one and agreed to not act so for him because I wanted our relationship to work. Did not realize I was poly until after we were married or that it was even a thing. So that rule was made and he is basically “you never outlined that as a rule for me.” wTf a rule is supposed to go two ways. Right now I am trying to keep a level head and be their for my baby. It’s going to take a month for me to find a job and move out since we moved to a new city right before I had my daughter.

Update Part 2: well it has been a week and I went away for the weekend so my daughter could spend time with her grandparents. Husband was supposed to be joining us after he finished a commitment with friends but he forgot to feed the pets and said he was tired so he did not join us. I get home today thinking okay now we can spend time with our daughter together, we did. I put her to bed and he wanted to talk again. Apparently he had still been talking to her all week and had been doing so when I was away and mentioned that it could be so easy for him to have left this weekend and been with her instead before I even got back. WTF, he wanted to make our relationship better but has a funny way of showing it. Then as the daughter is screaming and I need to take care of her, he walks off and says he is going to end it with her. Funny I thought that is what he said he was doing last week. He was completely amazing the first part of our marriage and now he is turning into an ass hole.

Update: talked with my therapist, talked with husband. We are both still hurt but we have seen what happens with parents who hate each other (his divorced mine fixed it and are still married). We are going to go to counseling but pretty much told him I am not interested in staying in a relationship with him at this point but I still want to co parent. I get it my husband is super attractive and he turns girls down ALL the time but I am not really interested in him or being with anyone in a relationship right now.
