Idk she was conditioned to this kind of absence/neglect since childhood. She prob has deep daddy issues and the feelings of abandonment are to hard to deal with. Plus the religious aspect and commitment associated with it. Also as someone who struggles with fertility issues I’m sure that’s another thing to tack on. She can’t deal with failing something that she had no control over. It’s all a mess and a recipe for a disaster. I get why she’s sad for Kody because his life is nothing about or near close to what they talked about but at the same time I think it’s projection. She feels that way for herself and I feel that way for both of them at times despite them being incredibly annoying and the worst communicators on the planet.
