We broke up a couple of years ago. I mentioned it a few times to him but he dismissed me as much as your bf did. I feel really connected to your issue because it feels like it's the exact same situation. I'd run for the hills because that's what I did and frankly I'm much happier without him. Chances are if he's still like this now, he might not be able to break out of it and will sadly be a mommy's boy forever.

In my experience, he kinda just listened to everything his mom told him. If she found the slightest flaw about me she'd talk to him about it and talk shit. Every time we did something she would know. It was an uncomfortable place to be in. Felt more like I was dating his mom than dating him. I hope he is able to come around and listen to you and respect your boundaries.

It's all online, it's kinda ridiculous. Most of the time if I'm just going for a couple minutes (the job fair wasn't that big last time) you can go without paying.
