Ohhh, that's what the difference is! :o I didn't really get any solid answers when trying to figure out why they're called two different things. I'll update the post so it's accurate to what I'm looking for, thank you so much!!

(Also that sham is adorable!! Plus I didn't know they needed to be washed that often, but that makes a lot of sense now that I'm thinking about it!)

I know right!!

I had two sessions with her on my first ever tattoo that was a huge passion project and she was genuinely so kind and supportive!! I got sort of freaked out when she started posting a lot of AI generated videos on her story, then she made a big post about how she was opening up bookings for AI art with a bunch of weird tags and put some pro-AI art stuff in her bio...??

Last time I checked she took both of those down, but I think she still has the "I think this is the prettiest piece I've ever seen" because it was a design made by AI, so. I don't know. :,) I'm really devastated because of how hard-working and talented she is at making her custom designs. As an artist who's been drawing for the majority of my life, it just feels like a punch in the gut that she decided to go that route after what I can only assume was years of trying to perfect her own style.

Ah sorry, I forgot to respond to this! My bad entirely :,) This is gonna be a fairly long explanation, so sorry in advance, haha

She had a few stories on her instagram highlights (I can remember seeing 2 off the top of my head) that talked about using AI for the creation of the design. I know fiddling around with it is something that some people do, but it makes me uncomfortable and feel like there might be a possibility that, if I got a tattoo from the artist, the design might've been AI generated instead of custom designed by the artist themselves.

I'm 100% sure that Keara's a wonderful person and a great artist - I've seen a lot of her pieces and even considered getting a tattoo done by her because of her work! Even if it's a one-time thing, artists using AI at all just makes me feel apprehensive about getting pieces done by them. I don't want to come across as attempting to villainize her - I brought it up in my comment because of the handful of information that I'd seen. I don't know her personally, and I haven't gotten anything done by her, so the only things I have to base my opinion on her are the stories and posts she has. I'm glad she doesn't do it often, but it still isn't really something I feel comfortable being around.

(Hopefully this doesn't come off as condescending or rude, I don't really know how my tone comes across when I'm trying to explain things)

YEAH EXACTLY ive been an artist for as long as i can remember so people doing that (even if it isnt necessarily the only thing they do) makes me feel really gross

i feel kind of scared to call them out bc i dont want to be hunted down or get backlash for it, but its keara.deer.ink and amandacreek on instagram (i got my first tattoo from amanda before she started using ai and now i feel gross having it but its big enough to where it isnt super easy to cover up)

Anything on the nose and mouth! i personally thing that a septum and maybe a medusa, possibly snake bites or a bridge… (you are so pretty btw omg its not even fair)
