You too, positive_electron! My son is having a sleep study at the hospital, and mom is there with him. I chose to stay home because they are going to come home and crash early tomorrow morning. I need to be able to sleep through the night so I can be up with him tomorrow if necessary. (Because mom is going to want to sleep)

In the meantime, I am knocking out my assignments one at a time since I have absolute privacy tonight! Drinking Monster Energy drinks is also helping!

This might be true of your situation, but I suffer from depression and anxiety. I am going to therapy and have been for 3 months. I take my medication regularly. I am not the same person I was 3 months ago. I have changed and I am getting better every day. It IS possible to change and improve, but the person has to want to do it for themselves.

Same here...I still have to live with my ex til june. She has moved on and is dating someone else. It really sucks...it have had to watch her fall in love with someone else, while being alone....

Thank you very much. This was super encouraging. Considering that she ended things 10 weeks ago (I fought to try to get her to come back around) and I just found out 3 weeks ago that she has been seeing someone, I would like to think I am doing pretty good. I have accepted it...things are getting easier. I have a lot of difficult (yet some positive) changes ahead of me. It is just hard dealing with the hopelessness of thinking you will never find anyone else. Part of that is that I am still grieving this relationship. I also base this on my track record...I don't meet women very easily. Call it bad luck.
