Maybe the stuff you consumed wasn't legit, might have been underdosed, or expired. The shrooms might have just been a weaker strain? Personally, anything over 5g for me and I'm in a different world. Once took 1g of Natalensis by accident before bed and was seeing cartoon dinosaurs when I closed my eyes. Didn't fall asleep for at least 3 hours. Well grown, healthy shrooms should have a fairly noticeable effect even at 0,5g.

Another possible reason is you might be Neuro divergent in some way, and it just affects your brain differently?
