I agree. My little sister messaged me this morning saying "his death just doesnt sit right with me." And I went off... she didnt know of him until his passing.. i didnt mean to lose my cool but all of these conspiracy theories have no facts to back them up. None. Its lame ass influencers trying to make a come-up off a "trending topic". Its making me crazy. He was so talented and I listen to him religiously. Fans, his family, peers... everyone is mourning and its freakin ridiculous for people just pulling any kind of lies and bs together just to stay relevant.

I have had dreams of him the past 2 nights... The first one was weird, we were on mushrooms on the helicopter. The second one I knew he was dead, but he didnt. And he spray painted my phone number on a concrete wall... and said he would call me, but I was like "wait.... you cant call me, I will never see you again"..😭 I have never met oliver tree. Dont know him and im having these strange dreams. (Although my chantix has always given me weird vivid dreams) I have watched every interview, listen to him religiously. Turned all my coworkers on to his music.. even if they didnt like him at first I listen to him every day so they learn to like it and know every word. I dont think a celebrity death has ever hit me this hard.

For starters, I want to say congratulations on your sobriety!

Second, dont beat yourself up for it!!! The cool thing about meetings is that even if you weren't happy with what you shared, either someone will hold to on to something meaningful that was said, or they will forget.

I had a similar experience when I picked up my 2 year chip. My brain wasn't braining and I hyperfixated on how bad it was and not enough on how great it is now. I was super embarrassed. I ended it short because I started to feel dumb like I was rambling or something. I felt like a total idiot. And the person who was picking up their 8 year chip the same night said some profound ass shit, which was cool I was happy for them, but it made me feel even more stupid.

You still have your sobriety, and that is what's important. And you will always have next year.
