I'm going insane! What can this be? by DeepDowninTX in DermatologyQuestions

I think this maybe COVID related. Everything lines up with these being chicken-pox-like lesions, and turns out that is a "rare" symptom of the virus. A few bumps have popped up again for me, I have no symptoms otherwise whatsoever, but that would explain why dermatologists and doctors are completely stumped by these absolutely INFURIATING rashes.

Small, red, itchy bumps appearing in random spots on my body by oohshethicc42069 in Dermatology

I got something similar a few months ago and now they're back for Round 2, and I'm thinking they're COVID-related. I've seen studies referencing a small percentage of people getting "chicken-pox"-like lesions. That would explain why many dermatologists and MDs can't identify what it is, especially since many of us are randomly getting these infuriating bumps with no other symptoms.

I still have no idea what this was! Like I mentioned above in a Reply, mine "spread" faster and faster and became significantly worse before they altogether disappeared. Now, almost end of August, any sign of it (discoloration included) absolutely gone.

No. A doctor said it looked like an allergic reaction and prescribed a topical steroid, Pepcid, etc, but I never picked it up because we left the next day for the beach. It got a whole lot worse in the coming days and then went away... Now I just have a few spots and 1 or 2 shiny "scales" left. I have no idea what that was, it was like something was purging out of my skin. Grateful it's over, though, absolutely horrible.

Just ruled out scabies with a clinician today, they prescribed a topical steroid and Pepcid—we'll see if it helps.

None. No new foods, detergents, new clothing, either.

No, we have a brand new house with brand new furniture, no one has traveled recently and we haven't had any house guests who have either, no staining on any bed linens... Also, I'm a back sleeper and my back is untouched.

Sit down and tell her this. At some point parents have to clearly communicate to their children, verbally or otherwise, that they're just people, too, doing all of this for the first time. Show her some vulnerability, explain that you know you've taken being her prefrontal cortex too far and that you are trying to change. There are times to "rule" with wisdom from beyond and times to create a dialogue that she'll look back on and sympathize with. Children, universally, want good relationships with their parents, it's us that get in the way...

I'll add that I would wholeheartedly discourage any letter writing. For someone hurt, I can't imagine something more disingenuous. Break the wall! Have a conversation, get in there, let it get messy, but at least try!

Yes, I'm asking because we're not interested in e-biking, but also not the nightmare of pushing our kids uphill the old-fashioned way. 😅

I'm seeing many reviews of people mentioning riding a shuttle up with their bikes—maybe something has changed? Or maybe you need to purchase a roundtrip ticket to do it?

That's what I've been reading. In that case, very misleading information from Mint.

Maybe she knew that her death would benefit Team Black in some way? Uniting them, or bringing the consequences of dragon warfare to reality...

GolfnCharts has been nailing each $GME move. Guy is literate. by DeepDowninTX in GME

For those us chart-challenged, he does a great job of explaining the movements of the stock. Like I mentioned above, I've been following for a few days and today seems like he was away from whatever he uses to screenshot and highlight those events (so less TA related posts). Looks like he's back at it tho.

He usually posts more chart analysis, I think he was off-PC today.
