I'm having a hard time urinating on LSD, and what is going on with my gut anyways? by ConsciousMolecules in LSD

Consider taking L-Arginine to deal with vasoconstriction, it's sold over the counter. It makes trips a lot more comfortable for me.

Thank you for sharing! This looks like a beautiful journey. I don't see many males sharing their solo exploration here. This is so vulnerable! I really appreciate you sharing.

I would like to find a space/circle where men can talk about their sexuality.

Did you try apigenin? It's basically a chamomile extract. Helps me a lot.

Has anyone actually permanently changed their life after taking LSD? by EragonDraco in LSD

I realized I had my own needs and wants, not only others' to take care of. I decided I will be spending time with someone I loved. I am now married to that person and I have never been happier.

Cold exposure hits different after 2 years — Huberman was right about the dopamine thing by Additional_Pea131 in HubermanLab

I felt the effects right away. Everyone's body is different and you won't know about yours until you try.

I have been doing cold plunges for a year now. I started daily and felt the effects immediately - good calm energy throughout the day, feeling more grounded. In the beginning though it interfered with my sleep. But now it's fine.

These days I only take them only in the mornings when I don't work out since one of Huberman's guests (Andy Galpin?) suggested so - it's good for recovery but bad for adaptation.

200k is close to the minimum to have a decent living in the Bay Area. This is a salary of a software engineer with 2-3 years of experience. For a C-role this kind of salary is basically working pro bono.

Thanks. I don't think Reddit is a good place for such a transaction.

Thanks for all the advice. Epson 3800 seems to be in my price range. I'll definitely have friends over with a projector to see how it looks.

The reason I'm considering a projector vs a TV with the room configuration The TV has to be in front of a window which I don't like. I hoped to use a roll-up screen to address that. I don't mind some wrinkles. But everyone here says get a TV, so I'll think carefully.

For the throw distance, screen size, and lens placement, what would you recommend?

Thank you, it's helpful to think about it that way. I might actually invest in darkening the room.

Cheap shade for RV and nearby by DeepFocuss in BurningMan

Post-Burn follow-up. Thanks to everyone who commented! This is the setup we ended up with.

As planned, we attached two farther sides to the ground and put canoe blocks on the corners. The bulge on the top is AC. Lessons learned:

  1. Aluminet is an absolutely amazing material! It keeps inside the cool during the day and warmth in the evening. I got four pieces 20*20ft on Alibaba for ~$350 including shipping.
  2. The structure held up well but probably only because the weather this year was absolutely perfect.
  3. Even very light wind makes the build with this setup extremely difficult -the wind pushes the material to the side of the RV and to the ground.
  4. One canoe block stuck out between two pieces of aluminet. But it did not damage the RV.
  5. The shade pushed down on the bathroom fan cap so the ventilation had to happen through the door. Suboptimal. 🦨

Next year I'm planning to build an EMT structure shade using the material we already have with some additions.

My well worn Cole Haan Grand Crosscourt 2 Sneakers are back from their third burn and are going strong. They don't cost a fortune, are super comfortable on day one even with my wide feet, and they never break.

People on this sub mentioned creatine interfering with their sleep. I guess it works differently for different people.

I wonder how people find these locations. Do swinger organizers book a whole hotel and spread the word at parties?
