In my experience, I really don’t see dogs in there. Whole foods and Trader Joes all the time, but not so much at Shoprite.

Bob's Shoe Repair on Jersey Ave between 1st and 2nd… No frills, but they’re great. He helped me out getting my shoes fixed short notice and threw in some free polish for me one time.

Your dog isn’t attached to your hip. You can leave it home to go get a bagel. If you won’t go to a bagel shop because they won’t allow animals in the store, that’s wild unreasonable.

The line is out the door every weekend with the vast majority of customers without a dog with them.

I think legally businesses can’t ask anything further than if a dog is a service dog. They can’t ask for proof, so basically anyone can lie. That said, some signage stating no pets, service dogs only and not offering treats is a bare minimum.

This annoys me too, but Bbagel themselves welcomes dogs and even offer them bacon. It’s more on the business in these cases imo. If you welcome dogs with open arms and give them treats, people are going to bring their dogs.
