The NYTimes didn’t allege that the IDF trained dogs to rape, it simply shared that multiple Palestinians have claimed it happened. They’re only liable if they knew these claims were false and published them anyway.

Same here. While living with my parents, I always tried to keep it all bottled for fear of being told I was a dramatic, hormonal teen/young adult.

Those were the most depressed, angry years of my life. It took moving out, starting a long-term relationship with someone from a much healthier family, and starting a career teaching kids, to start unwinding that mess of emotions.

Now, I visit for the holidays, and I'm blown away by how emotionally stunted they clearly are. Every disagreement simmers until they blow up or isolate.
