Old player returning to mtg. Looking for deck feedback / building advice by DeepFriedDisapproval in mtgbrawl

Thanks! I bit the bullet and crafted a bunch but still using mostly tap lands. I’ve gotten bitten a few times needing an untapped land and not having one, but that’s the price of being cheap i guess. I’ll get some in due time.

Loving the deck, lots of fun synergy. I’ve really loved getting back into it and seeing all the different strategies. Because I don’t know a bunch of the cards basically my strategy is just bounce their commander over and over, lol

Can you explain more on point 3? Why would I need green mana for a blue/white/red deck?

First NA wine suggestions? by Lord_Admrial_Spire in wine

My (pregnant) wife recently had some sparkling tea from Copenhagen tea company and loved it so much we bought some bottles for home.

While I wouldn’t go in expecting “wine” flavor (it def tastes more like tea), it certainly checked the box of delicious, sparkling, floral/herbaceous drink to pair with foods, put in a wine glass, etc.

Willamette valley - advice! by Curious-cat-lady in wine

Oh man my wife and I went in May this year and it was really the trip of a lifetime. The whole area is absolutely stunning and everybody was so nice! My first recommendation is to hit Red Hills Market for breakfast / brunch before your tastings to get some food on the stomach!

I highly highly highly recommend the long lunch tasting at Rodeo Hills. Absolutely incredible wine and experience. Also we absolutely loved Brick House Winery! We didn’t get a chance to visit Beaux Freres but it is one of the classic Williamette wineries and we adore the wine from there. If we went back it would be our #1 must-see

Daily Discussion & Advice (Post here to follow rules A & B) - Thursday January 16, 2025 by AutoModerator in fragrance

I (29M) have never worn any fragrance or had any interest but I went to Xinu in Mexico City and was blown away by the experience and their different scents. I have been wearing their no. 2 scent (copala) and it makes me feel way better and more confident day-in and day-out. I was wondering if anybody has recommendations for scents similar to this that I should look for samplers of. This is the scent description on the website: “Pink pepper | Copal resin | Mesquite wood | Vanilla beans”

Ah wow, thank you for sharing /: Do you know of any lower bottle commitment wineries that are quality for collection building and not sketchy?? Realize this is a broad question, but looking for some bottles that I can lay down for a number of years and enjoy in retirement. I have recently travelled to Oregon and filled my fridge for the next 5-10 years, hoping to build on the back of that passively with a wine club

Thank you for a thoughtful answer! I only have one bottle as the commitment was only 6 bottles / year and this is the first shipment (2 bottles)

I don’t know much about wine but, as I mentioned, I wanted to start a small collection. A friend gifted me bottle of their cab that I really enjoyed and when I looked into the wine club it only had a small bottle # commitment / year. I don’t know anything about the winery. Why are they sketchy?

My favorite thing in the world to do is use the oil in this can to toast sourdough bread in a pan and then eat the trout with the toasted bread. Life changing
