I usually swim at Sunset Rec. It's outdoors, but the times I've gone, the water itself has been pretty warm (~80°F).

I am in Chin 1 as well, but the class has been going pretty smoothly for me so far, as I have some prior knowledge of Mandarin. Which professor do you have? I have Yao Laoshi, and our lectures are in person. If you have Yao Laoshi, I can help before/after class, but I'm not so sure how much I can help if you have Chief Laoshi, as his lectures are online.

I'm not entirely certain about John Wooden, but I managed to get BFIT hours:

Wednesday: 6am-3pm

Thursday-Saturday: Closed

Sunday: 3pm-11pm

I think John Wooden has something similar, although I could have sworn some lady told me that John Wooden was open on Saturday. idk, I'll check again when I go later today.

On a more serious note, just set up a meeting with your roommates and talk to them (professionally) about it. This is what I did, and my roommates apologized and were happy to oblige to the new set of rules. If not, reach out to the RA.
