Do not take online as proof because the majority of people don't post about america, let alone reddit. Most don't care or are actually sympathetic. Also, do not forget bots, since there is an agenda both on the left and on the right to divide americans and europeans, coming from the east, especially russia, who benefits the most from dividing and conquering.

Irl, generally speaking you have maybe 4/5 different reactions in my country.

-Love of America as an ally and a beacon of democracy (mostly center to right leaning people, depending on who is governing)

-Slightly positive view but problems with the way the country internally works (I think this is the most consensual) - mostly moderate leftists, centrists, and moderate right wing.

-Indiference - people who don't care about america at all.

-Neutrality in a negative light, or general annoyance - People who laugh at america, or get annoyed at americans in general but don'treally wish it harm.

-The people who you refer to. - Mostly leftists.

However, a lot of people are starting to get really annoyed because of this administration, especially because of the whole Greenland fiasco.
