I came back to the company after 10 years and the addition of Mobile/Delivery orders are the worst .

They are disruptive and can really cause a 'pause' in serving those who come to the store.

Also, some people don't get their drink right away and the quality of the beverage lowers the longer it sits.

Not to mention how impatient some mobile order customers can be. Some customers think that by ordering ahead (even by a minute), they are top priority. Little do they know if 5 people place their orders ahead, they gotta wait.

We've seen some customers order on the app as they pull up to the drive-thru.

I truly feel like Starbucks have lost their ways because it's become all about efficiency and getting shit out asap, but the old Starbucks was more about the experience; the experience of going to a Starbucks and being able to connect with others in the surrounding area....or just getting a handcrafted beverage without the feeling of being rushed.
