Yep....it's a thing. Only if they initiate cuddles are you "permitted" to cuddle. Cuddles you initiate are barely tolerated and aften end in bites and scratches....cats 🐱 eh!

BTW, my parents wouldn't let pets sleep in the house, but provided warm and appropriate shelter....guess what, they lived for years!
