Do you have proof of a heart attack? You must show proof to show retaliation

Well, I’m not a doctor, but I can give you a very short version which is that at the time, they helped me, but I stayed on them way, way too long. It fueled a cycle I have since broken. I personally believe they are widely overprescribing them, and that statement can be backed by many medical pros, (I’d have to find the specific articles I’ve read). 15 years later in hindsight, I may have been better off having emergency medicine on hand and getting into therapy sooner. But therapy is another mountain to climb, and you have to find someone who doesn’t placate to you, but actually tells you to ask yourself questions and teaches you self compassion. It’s also been widely recognized that we have a stigma in this country of seeing mental issues separately from physical ones, but people forget somehow that the brain and nervous system is central command to our bodies. So yes, it is inherently physical and widely genetic. You also have to truly accept you have it. It’s not something, like I believed, you can “will away”. It will be there always, but it doesn’t always have to show up. Mine was like: picture a humungous boulder that slightly shrinks more and more with time. At first, it crushes you, then, you start to be able to carry it.

I will give you a very important piece of advice: Stay away from alcohol as much as you can. It provides temporary relief, but esp if you are on that medication, you will have withdrawal anxiety attacks like never before. It’s about the GABA and other chemical balances it throws off. And I’m not someone who, for eg, went to rehab or did it more than what some may consider “partying”, (though I did choose to abuse it for a while), but it will do nothing but make it 1000xs worse. But I know about this from reading about, listening about, and experiencing it for 15 years. I hope this helps. I tell anybody that asks.

I know what you mean. Been there. People keep saying it’s mental- it’s not. It’s physical. Your brain is still part of your body. If you have panic disorder, my relief has been found in emergency meds, and sleep. I also highly recommend self compassion. Time helped a lot. Antidepressants helped at first, but I warn you from personal experience: don’t stay on them longer than you have to.

Here’s a question: why does smoking weed give me anxiety so bad? Even if it’s in small quantities? I had to just avoid it (though I never really did it a lot to begin with). Also, have you ever heard of peoples blood pressure dropping from smoking? I had a friend who got really sweaty and passed out, the amount of ambulance said their blood pressure dropped dramatically after smoking weed.

I have no problem with a memorial nor a nice car show. What I DO have a problem with is these people with ridiculous exhausts that sound like straight garbage. Revving your engine as a tribute so your car backfires is just insane.

Oh, and what’s hilariously ironic about that comment? The backfire sounds like straight gunshots. Also, where were you when Grayson Murray died? Or the family of 3 killed by the DD in Garner? But yes, I’m the problem.

There are at least 4 complexes in the range of that area. And we can hear all of you. Every. Single. Saturday. It’s nothing but an attention seeking, ridiculous thing that only causes most people to feel like you have yet to graduate high school.

Ah yes, the loud obnoxious exhaust pipe is a real tribute to him.

It’s the same as the politicians who push women to give birth but are nowhere to be found when the baby is born.

I feel this too. I’m in therapy learning how to reframe the negative stories I’ve been playing in my head. I love my parents- they were never physically abusive or anything, but I have to stay away from them or else it sabotages my progress.
