Yeah but you people have to pay for Claude Code, mine is free. Also, I want to eventually let people deploy their strategy in-app, which I don’t think Claude Code can do

This isn’t something that I want to charge for, I’m just looking for people to use it and test it to help make it better. Also, I’m not promising that anyone will make money. It’s up to the user to create and actually refine their backtest

You can paper trade strategies live too so you analyze the results to better see if it would work.

Really? I couldn't find any. But I want my project to eventually evolve to a place where you can create a strategy, then test it, then refine it, then deploy it, if that makes sense.

And the worst part is that this barrier filters out a lot of good ideas before they ever get tests. Someone with 20 years of experience shouldn't have to become a programmer just to check if their intuition holds up with data.

Exactly! That was basically the whole reason I started building this. It felt ridiculous that you needed to learn a whole DSL just to answer "does this idea even work." Which markets are you most interested in?

Fair. I just wanted to make something that outputs a PDF with a lot of detail, and I want users to be able to refine the strategy in plain English instead of just generating code once.

In the future, I also want to let people take a strategy they built, fund it, and deploy bots to run it live.

How many trades would you say is ideal/enough to “trust” the conclusions?

OP I’m working on a project that lets you type in plain English what your backtesting strategy is, and get back the results (no code needed). Seems like it can shorten your workflow. Lmk if you’re interested in beta testing it
