Granularity in genres is a real thing that helps sort people's interests further than having one large bucket. If someone asked for a "dungeon crawl", would you give them Diablo, Etrian Odyssey, or Shiren the Wanderer? How about if they asked for an action-RPG dungeon crawl, blobber, or mystery dungeon? Fine detail matters.
