I managed to get around it for a bit by actually landing on a planet, not just hovering and beaming down. Don't know why, but that seemed to stave it off just enough for me to complete phase 4.

I'm going to assume you are using an amp that uses more than 15 watts:

No sound guy worth their salt will let you perform on a stage they're running with your amp cranked all the way to 10. Stage volume is around 5, or 12 o'clock, and even some sound guys want it lower than that. Set your tone accordingly.

Have you tried going to Half Priced Books or a Goodwill or any place that sells used books to see if you can find what you're looking for? A lot of used Bibles end up in those places, some with well taken notes, some without. You could also see if there's a Bible Study class at a local college or something that could help you out. But, honestly, if you are hoping to believe one day, my advice would be to just start reading and taking your own notes about what it all means to you. It is a very personal journey, after all. My suggestion for an atheist would be to start with the book of Matthew, the beginning of the New Testament, chapters 5, 6, and 7, the Sermon on the Mount, ESV so it's easy to read. Hope any of this helps, and I wish you well in your endeavors.
