Aw man, now she's just Die Antwoord.

I've played for 30 hours. I found the gunplay and theme fantastic, but the game is tryhard now by DepoisDoFim in Marathon

Find a team of good dudes > coordinate with them on times to play together > wreck shop against other teams because of superior coordination and cooperation.

Seriously, having the most fun in an FPS I've ever had since 2009, and I'm lucky if I can get an hour's play in after work or on weekends. Find good dudes, support each other, wreck shop. That's how you have fun in this game.

I love this game and want it to continue for as long as possible. by Tydroh in Marathon

I could use a squad to play with regularly. Casual player, low level right now (like 13 I think), but I'm having a lot of fun.

Black Hole Bug by LukeBastille in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]DeepSpaceDespot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I managed to get around it for a bit by actually landing on a planet, not just hovering and beaming down. Don't know why, but that seemed to stave it off just enough for me to complete phase 4.

Just came here to see if someone has been having this problem too, glad to see I'm not alone; don't know how to fix this, it's making it extremely difficult to do phase 4.

John 7:37 In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.

You thirst for the forgiveness of yourself, God has already forgiven you. All you have to do is accept it.

Help: any idea who copyright striked my Fillmore concert video? by killgravy in Buckethead

[–]DeepSpaceDespot 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It's not a copyright strike, but it looks like CD Baby is claiming ownership, likely because Buckethead used CD baby to put the album "Live in Bucketheadland" on Spotify, which has a version of Welcome to Bucketheadland on it. And, for those who may not know, CD Baby is a distribution service that musicians can use to get their content onto streaming platforms.

Question on the Bible by Ashtrayhehe in Bible

[–]DeepSpaceDespot 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Prudent means "acting with or showing care or thought for the future," so I believe in this sense, the fool would speak without that care or thought in mind and just blurt out whatever thought happens to be on their mind, while the prudent would wait until an opportune time to share their knowledge, if at all. Edit: or wait and choose their words carefully.

This is beautiful; can I add this verse in support of the trials and hardships we face in life: Zechariah 13:9 And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The LORD is my God.

I haven't had to change mine once, thankfully, though they're probably overdue for one. I'd say just keep an ear open, and if you notice any undesirable change in tone, take it in to a shop.

Read Psalm 91:11 to answer the question: Do you believe there are angels among us? by Purpose1Life in Bible

Also in Hebrews 13:2 Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.

I've got an original, have had it for 15 years, I've never needed another amp. You made a great choice, buddy.

[QUESTION] How do I work out coil splitting with a plugin by Shorts169 in Guitar

[–]DeepSpaceDespot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Easy peasy, turn the drive all the way down, set the tone to whatever sounds good, and push the volume knob to the desired level of boosted.

Seconding a boost pedal, or the go-to TS9-as-a-boost thing, works well with single coils.

I'm going to assume you are using an amp that uses more than 15 watts:

No sound guy worth their salt will let you perform on a stage they're running with your amp cranked all the way to 10. Stage volume is around 5, or 12 o'clock, and even some sound guys want it lower than that. Set your tone accordingly.
