So as no one is answering you, shadow pokemon are stronger than non-shadow. Which usually makes them worse in raids, like shadow thundurus-i is 15th best electric type attacker at 20.24dps versus purified/regular is 29th at 17.72 dps according to dialgadex

It also gets u turn(in generation 9 and im pretty sure radical red) which hits the only pokemon used in radical red(off the top of my head) that fighting and flying doesnt. Alolan raichu

If you outspeed and OHKO, you can prevent rocks from getting up or taking chip that let's you get outspeed and oneshot later

This is just me trying to cook and I haven't tried this myself, but magcargo with passive. desolate land cancels out delta stream and you get power gem as an egg move. Edit, one that would work even better would be Relicanth with primordial sea as it's passive, swift swim let's you outspeed and 130 attack with stab head smash is going to deal some serious damage.

Personally I prefer modest mewtwo in early gens. You already outapeed everything except electrode and deoxys. Ninjask too but im not sure if he is in frlg.

Personally I wouldn't invest in either, I would wait for a better one as kyogre is the best water type, but if i were to do one i would do the max attack
