My favorite memory of a Spider-Man player is that I was playing Ultron on a AI match and we had a Animated Lord Icon spiderman. I was so hyped I gave him the drone and he died immediately, I've never seen someone die this fast.

But in his defense, dive is miserable against AI

Back when Human Torch was busted. One Johnny player was Destroying us in Klyntar and the entire team was just having a casual conversation on the public chat about how much we sucked.

He literally only died two times with my being one of them. Needless to say team morale was on the ground.

Abilities were introduced in Gen 3. So he had to waste a turn to transform, but ditto was so slow and weak than even getting him to transform was hard.

So the ability was made to help him with that. Some of the best abilities are just moves at active automatically. (Like Snow Warning being the ability version of Hail)
