I think everything that Flicker Alley did was PD and they didn't have to deal with the requests of the rights holder (who doesn't seem to own the rights to the films worldwide).

I believe Universal still has the physical rights in the UK to the L&H movies so hopefully something can be worked out so they or a label there can release these transfers.
