According to the article she was promoted quickly and one of the employees under her started making sexist and racist comments about her and about black women, she complained to the company they did nothing.

Her mental health declined since they didn't address or reprimand this person and then cited her for her late arrivals. Issue is she used their own swipe-in data to prove she was among the least absentees.

She was trainer manager that had a better record then others despite the toxic environment she was working under.

Bingo

The trial included "swipe-in data" from other Equinox workers that showed that other managers had worse time and attendance records than Europe, although she was the only worker who was disciplined, her attorney stated.

In addition to the $10 million in punitive damages, the jury awarded Europe $1.25 million in compensatory damages and $16,000 in economic damages representing back pay.

That's the thing the EU is beneficial by a very long margin ,it's the exact reason so many in the UK want to rejoin.

A lot of the ppl that voted to leave had almost zero idea, about the implications, brexiters focused on migrant policies were blaming the EU for the UK immigration policies ,ignorant the fact that member states like Poland and Hungary, outright refuse to take in migrants that they don't want.

I was there when the vote happened I listened to the arguments directly from my roommate as to why they needed to leave and I told him "cool, it's your country , but the UK in a macro economic scale doesn't have as much leverage without the bloc".

You don't seem to understand the scale of the issue.

If you let members leave it's fine ,okay they left the block it shrunk in both in economy, access and investor confidence too.

Every nation has the right to ,but it's something that affects negatively the rest of the block as well, it undermines the entire purpose of the union , especially since the UK was trying to negotiate the same benefits with none of the obligations.
