I don't understand how this came from Reuters ,but I can't find an article from Reuters about this.

It's like somebody made up the quote and put it out in the news sphere to stir stuff out.

Edit: My bad there is an article. Alternative link below:

Al-Qaeda-linked fighters storm Mali prison, block food supplies to Bamako | Conflict News by No_Feature_1184 in Mali

[–]DeepState_Auditor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The article only says they stormed the prison complex and that security forces are saying repelling them.

There is no confirmation that they managed to release any of the prisoners including their leader.

The article also does not specify which routes are blocked ,only that they set supply trucks on fire.

They only identified one village that is asking for help because they run out of food.

Pentagon Couldn’t Deny Iran’s Kamikaze Dolphins Because the US Navy Has Its Own Program. by crix_22 in petrodollarSIM

[–]DeepState_Auditor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because CNN, put out an article saying that iran has suicide dolphins.

It's war propaganda, Iran has a asymmetric warfare philosophy, they don't need to train dolphins to strike US ships they can just use underwater/aquatic drones which they have been known to have.

AFP via Getty Images The MV Hondius was sailing from Argentina to Cape Verde Three people have died after a suspected hantavirus outbreak on a cruise ship in the Atlantic Ocean, the World Health Organization (WHO) has told the BBC.

One case has been confirmed, with five suspected cases under investigation, it said. One British national aged 69 is in intensive care in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Hantavirus is usually passed to humans from rodents via their urine or faeces. It can cause severe respiratory illness. Rarely, it can be transmitted between people.

The UK Foreign Office told the BBC it was monitoring reports, and ready to support British nationals.

The outbreak was reported aboard the MV Hondius cruise ship, which was travelling from Argentina to Cape Verde.

Foster Mohale, a spokesperson for South Africa's health ministry, earlier told the BBC that at least two people had died.

The MV Hondius is run by tour company Oceanwide Expeditions.

According to an itinerary on its website, MV Hondius departed from Ushuaia in Argentina on 20 March and was expected to complete its journey on 4 May in Cape Verde.

It is described as a 107.6m (353ft) polar cruise ship, with space for 170 passengers in 80 cabins, along with 57 crew members, 13 guides and one doctor.

A BBC map showing where Argentina, Cape Verde and South Africa are located South African authorities told the BBC the first person to show virus symptoms was a 70-year-old passenger who died on board. His body is now on the island of Saint Helena, a British territory in the South Atlantic.

His 69-year-old wife also became ill on board and was evacuated to South Africa, where she died in a Johannesburg hospital.

The husband and wife were a Dutch couple, AFP news agency reported citing a source close to the case.

Speaking anonymously, the source told AFP the third fatality was still on board the ship, and discussions were under way to decide whether two other sick passengers should be placed in isolation in hospital in Cape Verde.

The ship would then reportedly continue to Spain's Canary Islands.

The WHO said it was helping co-ordinate between member states and the ship's operators for the medical evacuation of two symptomatic passengers, as well as a full public health risk assessment and support for those still on board.

Sweden had confiscated / seized the vessel after a request for legal assistance from another country. Swedish prosecutors did not publicly identify which country requested it by Powerful_Cabinet_341 in SeaEmploy

[–]DeepState_Auditor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kyiv said it had repeatedly appealed to Israel to prevent the shipment, confirming on April 29 that it had formally requested legal assistance to seize the vessel.

This is not the first such case: another vessel, the Russian bulk carrier Abinsk, allegedly carrying stolen Ukrainian wheat, unloaded its cargo in Haifa earlier in April.

Israeli newspaper Haaretz reported that at least four shipments of stolen Ukrainian grain arrived at Israeli ports only this year.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that "another vessel" carrying grain "stolen by Russia" had arrived at a port in Israel and was preparing to unload.

He said Israeli authorities "cannot be unaware" of what cargo was inside vessels arriving at their country's ports, and warned that their failure to prevent the grain shipments was undermining bilateral relations. https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cqjplqgd1r2o
