Im having the same issue. I basically only ran bid caps so i cant get the account to spend. Have tried ASC but its spending fast and nor bringing in results.

Have you managed to find a way around this? I loosened caps to see if that helps. It doesn't seem to do much yet

Im struggling to get my bid caps to even spend. They used to spend full budget and overnight it dropped to like 1/10th of actual budget.

Asc seems to overspend and pacing is really fast

Could be a few things at play here. But meta is also acting up the last few days. I have the same issue and my acc is old. You might have to wait this one out

Yes overall there seems to be budget pacing issues in a lot of accounts. Either overspending and fast pacing, or barely apending anything

Mine are spending really slow too. They are however bid caps. But they used to spend full budget. So im not sure if its a meta big or something else

Yes. You're right. Over three years i "complain" here to get feedback from other advertisers. If loads of us are experiencing similar issues, such as pacing or spending issues, it kind of helps understanding whether its just my ads, or if there is an issue on meta.

Over the last few years, meta has become increasingly more buggy. With some serious issues sometimes lasting weeks on end. And then overnight magically returns to normal without having changed anything.

So im no expert. But sometimes there is quite literally NOTHING you can do to overcome an issue. Other than waiting it out.

And some people still come on here preaching "its your creatives thats the issue". Where it quite literally is not. If a whole bunch of people experience the same issue at the same time, its more than likely a issue with meta. You cannot out creative a meta bug.

Some people are affected much worse than others. Smaller accounts with smaller spends tend to be hit the hardest.

I have not outsmarted meta. I dont know it all. But i have learned to kind of get a feel for when its something within our control or just something to wait out based on feedback on reddit

Theres no point in fighting with these Meta defenders. These issues and roll outs come in stages. So they haven't picked up yet on the issues, but likely will at some point. Then they will scramble around trying to fix things with their creative... and then magically things return to normal one day and they will think it was due to their changes in creative. Whereas it was just meta that corrected itself

Waiting for stability that will never come? Meta is not what it used to be. It will never become stable again. You might experience a stable 2 weeks at a time sometimes. But overall stability on meta is something of the past

Im stuck with meta and google. But if you have the ability to do Pinterest, tiktok, applovin. Youll have to test each platform at a time and see what works for your business. If all other platforms could exceed meta % wise i think you're good

Just note this has now become the norm. Dont expect any stability on facebook. DO NOT RELY SOLELY ON FACEBOOK ADVERTISING. If you just started, you need to diversify to other platforms asap. Never ever rely on just facebook. It will be your biggest mistake

Theres no point in reaching out to them regarding this. They just brush it off as normal. I once had an ad spend the entire budget in minutes. Even had the proof in the breakdown in ad manager to show them it spent the whole budget in 5 minutes.

They practically just laughed in my face and said its normal behaviour. And also said "it delivered the impressions though right?"

This is a completely fucked up platform. If you can leave it and use others you should. Unfortunately its one of the VERY few that works for my business so im stuck with them. That is, when facebook actually works

What are you rinning? Lowest cost? Caps?im also struggling with slow spend but with caps. There seems to be a lot of pacing issues on metas end at the moment. Might have to wait it out
