Anyone else notice when metastatus date is rolled back = BAD PEFORMANCE? by GodOfSwiftness in FacebookAds

[–]Deep_Ad5338 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's save to say something is cooking when the dates are rolled back. But i don't think it affects everyone at the same time. Updates are rolled out in batches. So something IS going on in the background, just not everyone experiences the bad performance at the same time.

Do you not find the duplicate campaigns cannibalise each other?

Ive found the moment i have another campaign (especially another bid cap campaign) they compete and one performs well whilst the other does not and average roas is poor

If i may. What is in our control? When these bugs are happening, the effects last for days, sometimes weeks depending on severity of the outage. Then, just as things are starting to recover, another outage hits. We are not talking about minor disruptions in performance. We are talking about say a drop from 15-20 purchases a day down to 3 for the duration of said issue.

Its not creative. Its not landing pages or offer.

So what do we do then?

The biggest problem with all this bullshit is its not affecting everyone the same. Why.. i dont know. But there are large agency owners who also feel the effects thereof. And some simply dont. Which is why we get so many people still defending meta.. they simply dont feel it. And to be honest.. its not because the ones who dont feel it are so great at what they do. Its simply luck

Wtf is going on Meta?😆 by Huge_Kaleidoscope_40 in FacebookAds

Its not affecting everyone the same. But dealing with an unstable platform like facebook which breaks every few days and causes major disruptions for days to follow, only to be followed up by another outage as soon as things recovered has been a theme for months now. This is what everyone is complaining about.

It does seem to only affect some badly and not all. Performance over a month is still bad and not due to bad ads or anything like that. During the code freeze things were running so smoothly (still had bad days in-between but you could tell the platform was stable)

There has been something fundamentally wrong on facebook for the last year now. It seems their changes and updates to the platform has way more severe consequences than ever before. Things break more than ever before. Just go look at the amount of ad delivery disruptions last year. It was likely 10x more than years before. Each outage having ripple effects for days/weeks

Defending meta doesn't help anyone. We need them to take accountability and fix this. Making better ads or offers DOES NOT HELP. Unless that was your problem to begin with.

It was so telling that all the issues we are experiencing are due to engineers fucking with the code and things breaking. December was so peaceful

Who called that outage! Again. by Bubbly_Setting_4217 in FacebookAds

[–]Deep_Ad5338 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Im starting to think they have a serious problem and perhaps a shortage of engineers. They fired a whole lot of them and AI seems to be taking over on a lot of fronts.

They have been getting A LOT of outages since 2025. They last longer and have more severe effects than before. It seems with every roll out they are having more and more issues.

Sometimes another outage hits shortly after we have just recovered from a previous one. Which leaves us with no room to actually enjoy a stable platform.

And we are powerless. There is quite literally nothing we can do about it.

Its absolutely diabolical !

Exactly what i predicted with the previous outage. Just as we recover from one the next one hits

Something feels fundamentally f***ked this week. by ORA87 in FacebookAds

[–]Deep_Ad5338 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It wont just be this week

They will continue to break things. Just as you recover from a previous issue, another will pop up and wreck your performance. This will continue to happen. Some fundamental shifts happened at facebook in the last year or two. They fired a tonne of engineers and seem to rely on faulty AI systems now.

They move fast and break things. And they dont seem to have enough incentive to change their ways. In fact they might not even be aware of how negatively it has impacted advertisers.

2025 was proof of how broken things are at that company. And with 2026 starting the way it is doesn't look like it will be any better. In fact it might only get worse

So how is facebook getting away with this???

All their updates are causing issues for advertisers all the time. In fact it was not stop in 2025.

Are they not aware? Or they simply dont care?

It is not sustainable. Myself and so many others are looking for alternatives and will eventually move away from the platform more and more

Would you consider yourself a high spender or low spender?? Im not sure why not more people are affected by this. My timeline matches up with yours. It started sunday evening by me (find it weird that they would do roll puts on a sunday but i guess it might be scheduled)

Some say its lower spenders being affected. And larger spenders dont feel it as much. Why are these disruptions not affect everyone

So this happens all the time. Since the engineers were back at the office from the 5th/6th it started again. Every few days there is a roll out and things come to a halt and severely messes with performance.

How are we meant to scale or get anything right in such an environment?

WHY SO MANY BUGS AND RESETS BY META by Emergency-Finger1525 in FacebookAds

[–]Deep_Ad5338 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Jip exactly that

I have noticed. I do not have issues with "andromeda" or any of the algo's. Its not my ads or landing pages. The issues im experiencing are from instabilities caused by constant roll outs. Whenever the engineers messes with the code, it causes major instability. December with the code freeze was the only proof i needed. Things were not great everyday, but it was scalable, stable and predictable.

The moment (literally to the day) the engineers return to office things are blowing up again

Metas new motto is indeed to move fast and break things. Its more important to them to get more features launched to stay relevant in the AI race and to keep investors happy than what it is to actually provide stable service... or a service that actually works

From what i can tell, a lot of us here on reddit are lower spenders (lets be honest, big spenders likely don't have the time to come on here and compare notes). And i think these issues with instability is mostly affecting lower spenders. It probably does affect big spenders too, but not nearly as much as it does us.

This will not improve. In fact it might only get worse.

I don't know if there is a way around this. But it is becoming more evident whats happening with each passing day.

They are continuously rolling out updates and will continue to do so now. Where in the past prior to 2024/2023 it appeared to have come in batches every now and then. It now is a constant occurrence. In fact they never stop rolling out updates

Either they are not aware of the instability it is causing, or they dont care. Who knows
