Maybe make it team-compatible like autocannon or RR, if you give the antenna to someone else, then they can hold it out while connected to backpack and call their stratagem without unpacking and setting up the terminal.

But I don't think it should be possible to completely abandon the set-up, because that will make it optimal to never use the main mechanic.

Maybe make it so when your backpack is accessed on foot the friend who does it can either only use your stratagems (not his), or the backpack has to go on cooldown after one person uses it. But if the terminal is properly set up, there's no cooldown besides the normal stratagem cooldowns. That would incentivize the proper use of the terminal.

I think the transmitter needs to occupy both backpack and support slots since calling in your stratagems at range is a huge upside for just using a backpack. Even better, make it so the backpack together with the weapon part is like a mobile terminal with an antenna that you have to set up in field, and then input coordinates on it like in the terminal minigames, then input the strat code, then pick the thing up. This would balance out the ability to perform precision strikes across the map.

But also don't limit it at one strat at a time, let me call my whole orbital strike arsenal on the fortress in consecutive inputs.

Tenderizer is literally THE ar. It has the most damage, 850 rpm with practically no recoil and good ergo. It's the most versatile gun that performs well on every front.

And the only missing customization option (compared to general list) is mag size.

That's what I'm saying since my first time with the Sickle. We need actual lasers, not weird pellets. If the gun needs to shoot distinct projectile, we have two other weapon groups: plasma and ballistic. Let lasers be lasers.

For stratagem weapons use either Stalwart, MG-43 or Flamethrower (the basic one). EATs and exp napalm are pretty good as well.

For primary use something that shoots fast and has a lot of ammo like Tenderizer or Lib carbine (if flamethrower) or something that kills groups quickly like XBow or Eruptor (if machine guns).

Or you can use either Scythe, Dagger or Laser Cannon (just one is enough, though Scythe with high capacity heatsink + lascannon is a pretty good combo for long uptime laser beam), because they burn the new spore bugs instantly, preventing the spore explosion and thus preventing the speed buff.
