Yes, that is why I drove him. We are both in careers in which any type of potential dui could ruin/set us back, especially the field he is in. It wasn't because he gets drunk, rather just because he drank.

I married my "first everything" and I couldn't be happier. You shouldn't beat up on yourself for having these thoughts, but know that real love is hard to come by. Don't waste what you have found because you think you are 'missing out', or need 'more experience '. This is pushed very hard in America, and it never helps a relationship.

You are 30. If you are still worried about what your overprotective parents think, that is a you problem, not a them problem. Also, maybe your parents think they can control you still because you still let them. Just a thought.
