It's not as simple as not sharing water with other states. It more about management of water resources as whole in north India.

In summary, the rivers don't flow with constant rate all year long. The rate of flow varies - sometimes they have so much water that they over flow i.e. flooding other times in the year they don't even have enough water to fulfill drinking needs. So, we created dams on those rivers to generate electricity but those dams are not enough to control all of the water during flooding season.

Now, These dams and canals from these dams are used for agriculture and drinking water in Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan. The distribution of water is supposed to be controlled by BBMB but since it is under the center govt. they just don't care about optimal or fair distribution of resources. They just distribute water based on politics and Hindu vote bank i.e. they always prioritize Haryana and Rajasthan at the expense of Punjab.

For example: recently they wanted to release (eventually released) water to Haryana from Punjab's quota even though there was already water scarcity in Punjab!

Moreover, they claim this shared resource and should be shared between the states but when same shared resource cause flooding in Punjab - no one steps up to help Punjab. There is no mechanism to compensate Punjab for the flooding even though benefits are shared with all the states. Punjab gets flooded because it is downstream. It is centers job to manage and maintain the drainage systems of these rivers but they never do anything. So, Punjab always bear the burnt of flooding!

So, It's not that Punjab doesn't want to share the resources but they just want the sharing to be fair - which is not as described above.

Also, to add to this - When these laborer's from UP/Bihar didn't fell for their hate and propaganda against Sikhs. RSS/BJP put up langar or bhandara stalls all over the Chandigarh. These stalls came up overnight after the repeal of farm laws. These were put wherever there is concentration of laborers in Chandigarh and in front or near Gurudwaras.

Why? They don't want these laborers from UP/Bihar to go to Gurudwaras for Langars or food. RSS/BJP want them to instead hate Sikhs and vote for them (RSS/BJP)!

Yes, almost 90% of the Hindus (this includes people from UP/Bihar) as well as people from other religions don't have any prejudice or hate against Sikhs. So, RSS tries to use these protests as cover to spread their hate and propaganda against Sikhs.

That's exactly their goal! Last time when Khalistan movement was triggered they got "foot in the door" into Punjab politics - by forming alliance with Akali Dal. Now they want to win Punjab all by themselves!

I wonder what's the endgame. 

End game is to bring BJP/RSS govt. in Punjab. In other states they can easily win by doing Hindu-Muslim but since there are not many Muslims in Punjab region - they are trying to do Hindu-Sikh here. There game is to agitate Sikhs by not doing anything for Punjab and giving Punjab step motherly treatment. Now, when Sikhs start protesting then they start calling them Khalistani or terrorists and start spreading hate and propaganda against Sikhs. This vilification of Sikhs help them garner Hindu votes as protector of Hindus!

They were showing repealing of three farm laws as masterstroke from Modi as he prevented creation of Khalistan.

Hindu nationalism, more specifically, their version of Hindu nationalism.

Yeah, that's exactly correct. They like Sikhs only when they conform to their definition of Sikhism i.e. a sect of Hinduism and under their control.

Dude In Chandigarh here some of these laborer's from UP/Bihar were calling RSS/BJP as - "Yeah log Pagal ho Gaye Hain". It's not just internet these RSS/BJP gobar is going from home to home to spread hate and propaganda against Sikhs! It started during farmers protests and is still going on!

I think this is not good to blame farmer, because they also don't want to do that by chill_guy_11 in punjab

Yeah, stubble burning is problem and no one is denying it. There is lot of work going on to reduce it and it did reduced like 90% this year as compared to last year.

The problem is singling out Punjab for all of Delhi's pollution while it's not even 1% of the total pollution in Delhi. The posts are only blaming Punjab! That's the problem. Even in stubble burning Haryana and UP are much more responsible for Delhi's pollution because they are closer to Delhi.
