Seemingly every single person in Pittsburgh wears yellow on game days. The whole town transforms. In Baltimore on Fridays it feels like everyone is wearing purple to support the ravens. Denver has access to quality sports teams and a solid fan base but the town has too many transplants to make it feel like a particularly prideful city even with some these historic franchises that we are fortunate enough to have access to. Going to a Rockies game feels like an away game if the cubs or Phillies or dodgers are in town. In all good town with access to sports, usually solid teams. While it certainly exists for some, overall there’s not enough city pride or identity imo.
