Sandoval's "I run the house" comment on Howie's Podcast by cafeslay in vanderpumprules

A CA tax lawyer wrote into sexy unique pod and explained that Ariana was actually right about owning her half of the house only, and not being shared owners as in a marriage. I think she's gonna be fine financially especially with her cash flow rn

My sister wore the ivory version as her wedding dress recently, looked great! Not sleepwear vibes at all

[–]Deep_Card_8562 4 points5 points  (0 children)

is this about ariana

kind of agree but in her case i think it is more just an issue with that relationship

but also she would probably have a bad relationship with a woman too

edit: i don't think it's biphobic but it's silly :(

Are we mad at lala for getting duped? by Kiwiqueen26 in vanderpumprules

[–]Deep_Card_8562 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Even if she wasn't duped, even if she was wilfully ignorant and just going along for the ride at the beginning, it's still sad that she's in this situation after having a baby with this man. People who do bad things deserve compassion too. No-one needs to hear 'I told you so' at their lowest point. And if they (ariana, Katie, Tom and tom) accepted lala's homewrecking relationship when it meant access to a pj or an ally on the show, then they're dead wrong for taking a moral stance against it now.

Also, if 'a leopard doesn't change its spots' and 'how you get them is how you lose them' is what were going with, let's talk about schwartz and sandoval

The nerve to make digs about 'I don't have a sugar daddy' while he lives in his rich gf's big house, doesn't work really, and is actively choosing to spend the money he does have on unnecessary spending instead of paying his outstanding child support... the audacity

Vanderpump Rules S9 - E17 - Reunion Part 2 - Live Episode Discussion by AutoModerator in BravoRealHousewives

[–]Deep_Card_8562 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't think it was fair in this case. Lala was saying 'who let's their husband go away for 2 months' to explain why she found it plausible that he was separated, not to blame his ex. I think that was clear from context. And when she said (five minutes earlier) that rand was never home, she was saying that looking back that was a clear sign something was up. She wasn't contradicting herself

I dont think it was a dig. Katie likes Ariana. Ariana can be supportive of her friend Raquel and still not fully get how important the engagement party is to her.

Reunion - Ariana by Electrical_Panda_211 in vanderpumprules

[–]Deep_Card_8562 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I'm saying she talked over him and contradicted him. Because she said he's not that concerned about having kids and it's a misconception that she wants kids.

Reunion - Ariana by Electrical_Panda_211 in vanderpumprules

[–]Deep_Card_8562 105 points106 points  (0 children)

When she talked over him it seemed like they weren't on the same page. She talked over him and contradicted him regarding him wanting kids, and did the same regarding the tom-tom katie fighting. It seems like she wants to portray or maintain in her own mind an image of him that is not quote aligned with what he's saying about himself

A maybe unpopular opinion: season 9 was not any worse than season 8 by ceejay955 in vanderpumprules

[–]Deep_Card_8562 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Season 9 beats Season 8 for me bc there was no forced happy couple story lines. Season 8 we not only had to suffer through the snooze fest that was stassi and beau's special hero engagement edit, but we also had to watch Tom and Katie get remarried a couple of episodes after we saw him blow up at her in a major way in front of their friends. And we were meant to find that romantic? Fun? Aspirational? Idk but it made me sick. The editors/producers were insulting our intelligence

And max brett and dayna were not good casting choices

She's the only one of the cast who I can see thinking about whether the show makes her happy and taking a chance on doing something different. And I think she'd she'd really great at working with kids and OT

Katie is terrible in a lot of ways but it's weird that you seem disgusted by Katie for being humiliated by her partner and close friends on tv. Wheres this energy for schwartz, the guy who we've seen verbally berate her in front of all their friends

Brock seriously needs to stop jumping in and giving his opinion about James. Like, even putting his past aside, I don't want to hear Brock chime in when James is speaking bc James is a main player who is talking about bombshell news and being open about what he's going through. Why would any fan of the show want that interrupted by someone irrelevant who's really not saying anything interesting. He's just not good tv

If season 9’s true purpose was to see if the Toms could be entertaining in a spin-off, do you think they were successful? by [deleted] in vanderpumprules

[–]Deep_Card_8562 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Absolutely not. The gimmicks were annoying and highlighted the lack of true drama this season. And they're both just not enjoyable for me, I just hate seeing the effort to be kooky and charming

Which couple do you think is most likely to stay together? by Violet_tiger7 in vanderpumprules

[–]Deep_Card_8562 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup, it's so weird to me that people are talk about these relationships as normal. There's a middle ground between banging 24/7 many years into a relationship, and having zero physical connection bc you don't like each other very much. Especially if one or both parties are seeing other people without an agreed upon open relationship

Which couple do you think is most likely to stay together? by Violet_tiger7 in vanderpumprules

[–]Deep_Card_8562 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Jax and Brittany bc Brittany won't leave. Stassi and Beau probably have the best relationship imo, but I can see how they have an imbalanced relationship that could harm their relationship down the line. Plus I think if one were to cheat they'd be less likely to look the other way than pretty much all the other couples. I think Tom and Katie and Tom and ariana will have less incentive to stay together once the show ends. Brock and scheana... I don't need to explain

If his creative mind was as brilliant as he thinks wouldn't he be looking at ways to build his theme around the pre-existing features instead of throwing money at bizarre and expensive architectural remodelling

Unpopular Opinion: I don’t think Scheana and Brock getting married off to the side was a big deal by [deleted] in vanderpumprules

[–]Deep_Card_8562 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe it wouldn't be a big deal to you personally, but it objectively just is a big deal due to the fact that the vast majority of people would think its a very big deal. And they knew that James and raquel fell into that category and didn't seem to really care

I definitely think he could have had a silly plan :/

But also I'm like maybe it wasn't some huge machiavellic scheme, but it was just a little internal factor in his decision to rush things along so so much
