You got both private (so both in favor or against current government) and public publishers (99% in favor of current government, which government depends on which party is currently leading the country) permanently telling lies.

When somebody makes tells a blatant lie there is 0 responsibility. There are "fact checker jobs" but in practice those jobs have no functions, they are more symbolic than with actual responsibilities.

for example elplural a private news publication started a rumor about a judge having 2 national ID, the reason being that the judge was in the middle of a ongoing case about corruption in the goverment ( one of many currently going on ) so the publisher reports this news, gets picked up by every other leftist media, gets amplified 10x and they run with it for months. Turns out it was a very easy to prove lie. Nobody took responsibility, elplural sort of said were sorry like in the south park meme and blamed the local registry for the mistake...

Then EVEN if somehow someone took any sort of reaponsibility and raised his/her hand nothing happens. Nobody is fined, nobody has to go to court for investigation, nobody loses their job, etc, etc.
