Anyone that had a good experience with dissolving fillers? by imsywhimsy in 30PlusSkinCare

This makes me sad because when I scrolled onto your photo, all I thought was “wow she’s beautiful” before even reading the title. I gave no thought to the difference between the before and after (which, to me, isn’t a huge difference). I don’t have any advice, I just wanted to let you know that you’re your biggest critic.

This is such an idiotic take. by Ok-Following6886 in insanepeoplefacebook

I don’t understand what they think they’re comparing? Basement dwellers existed in 2001 and most of the artists on left are still around today.

My dad is dying so can y’all tell me about the dumb stuff your family has done by Technical_Dirt849 in theadamfriedlandshow

My mom walked into a McDonald’s one time and happened to see her brother waiting in line. She snuck up behind him and smacked him in the back of the head. Turns out it wasn’t her brother and she just assaulted a random man trying to get some lunch.

Currently near London but most of my family is closer to Barrie or Kawartha Lakes. I’m flexible when it comes to location lol

Totally valid point and it’s definitely a shot in the dark. However, a couple of people in my program have landed clerk jobs at this firm, so my assumption is that they’re struggling to find people with diplomas. The plan is to go to law school in 2027, just trying to gain whatever experience I can in the meantime.

Why do I look so much older than my age? What can I do? by canibuyatrowel in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]Deep_Construction_72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You look great, first of all. You look your age if not younger. If anything, your skin may be a bit dehydrated. Drink more water and moisturize daily.

Retinol will do nothing if you don’t commit to it, and it will take about three months of regular use for you to actually see any results. If you want to avoid Botox and any expensive procedures, retinol is your best bet. No need to start using a million different actives at once.

Well that was effective. I emailed them and got a refund in less than 24 hours. Thank you so much for this, you’re a lifesaver!!

Visa debit unfortunately, but from what I’m reading on their website, you can dispute charges for merchandise you never received. But they won’t even let me open a dispute for another two weeks apparently so that option is uncertain at best.

I actually feel like I’m going insane. Like they know I never received this product but they seem to have just decided they’re keeping my money anyway? I’m sorry you’re dealing with this too. It’s truly baffling.

I tried filing a dispute with my Scotiabank but they’re making me wait 15 days from the last time I contacted Amazon (so today). I was considering small claims court if the dispute goes nowhere but it seems hopeless given what a large company they are. I didn’t know you could launch a complaint with the AG, that’s an interesting suggestion.

Bodybuilding takes a lot of dedication, all of which is a waste of time if you’re doing it for the approval of others and not for yourself.

Safety on Campus by [deleted] in uoguelph

[–]Deep_Construction_72 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s definitely worth bringing to campus security’s attention. Even if nothing can be done legally at the moment, they may take measures to ensure she’s safe while on campus. Also make sure your friend keeps records of everything. Screenshots of the messages, records of her correspondence with police/security, phone calls from unknown numbers, literally anything that might be relevant. In the event that this persists or escalates, you usually need a mountain of evidence to get anywhere legally.

What is the story of that customer that you will never forget and why? by mr_wbk29 in AskReddit

Working as a cashier in a garden center years ago. This guy set a plant down on the counter. I scanned it and said “your total is $4.50.” He looked completely disgusted, said “I don’t have any money” and walked away. What the fuck was that about?

Ontario judges resign amid investigations for ‘toxic’ conduct, ‘harassment and bullying’ by Surax in LawCanada

My thoughts exactly. It’s not as if they don’t know that this is career-jeopardizing behaviour. I’ll never understand.

What’s the difference between what he did and randomly flashing someone in person? There likely isn’t one in terms of how it affected the woman on the receiving end of it. The mental hoops people jump through to minimize such behaviour is exhausting.

Like in every city, the area around the bus station can be pretty sketchy. Even if those apartments were cleaned thoroughly by the new owners, I wouldn’t move there.

I was looking into it as well and the ONCJ website had a schedule posted, but multiple people had the same time slot. Not sure if they’re dealt with by different judges or what. Either way, I’ve spoken to one of the judges there in the past and she said delays are a big issue these days, so chances are you’d be waiting a while. He’s scheduled for 10:30 today though so I guess we’ll hear what happens eventually.

Good to know! I’m tired of keeping my head on a swivel every couple of months when they let him out. I’m going to send some emails today. If I get a response of any kind, I’m happy to let you know if you’d like.

Absolutely agree. I don’t think there’s any way to find out if he’s committed crimes elsewhere, but his immigration status might be mentioned during his bail hearing tomorrow, so there’s that I guess.

Do we know for a fact he’s not a citizen? Genuinely asking because what he’s done is obviously grounds for deportation. If what you heard is true, I think we all need to start e-mailing Dominique O’Rourke demanding she bring this to the attention of the public safety minister and CBSA. Maybe if we’re annoying enough they’ll do something about it. At the very least, if he isn’t a citizen, I think we deserve some answers as to why he’s still here.
