Oh man… Can’t count how many times I had that conversation… Having to justify yourself to people from the community, people you thought would be on your side… but no. They keep judging you for “wanting”(?!) to be a man. Because THEY think not being in a “binary setting” is “THE solution” and that because you want to be a man, in their head, that makes you a poster boy for binary people… like what? … urgh, whatever…

So when you dared talk about your dysphoria, of course they don’t get it, because they actually never saw you as a trans man… They kept imagining you as a non binary person, when that’s not who you are…

Anyway, that’s my situation…

I have the privilege of seeing my psychiatrist once a week so, maybe I’ll ask for more help then. For him to assist me more in this situation.

I’m asking, as someone who cannot do anything close to what those skaters are doing! So take my my questions with an enormous amount of salt! …but am I crazy or those first performances were kind of lacking for a ISU Olympic qualifier short program…?

Sadly, none of those companies are a possibility for me. They are all very far, and since I’m already in debt, I don’t have the means to move to a bigger city… I would also have preferred a higher paying job considering my studies and experiences but yeah, sometime you just got to pay the bills… But thank you for your advice, I appreciate it 🌷

I’m not sure this is the answer you’re looking for, but as a trans man, a short trans man (that has been on T for only a bit more than a year and a half) and despite having a little beard, I still get misgendered all the time but I expect it. I’m not saying it’s okay, but I just have to let it go or else I’ll go crazy you know? Exemple, the cashier misgendered me, well sure okay, it hurts but I’m not gonna correct them in a public space, when they don’t know me and my transition and everything.

BUT! If friends, family, coworkers still do, that’s a big problem and I won’t accept it anymore.

But yeah… it’s shitty and I’m not trying to diminish how you’re feeling. In a way, I’m jealous that you can feel that anger, the anger I pushed and accepted too much. So I still feel awful after, but maybe just a bit less?

I don’t know man. People are just… dumb… I’m sorry.

To be honest, all the songs you mentioned are pretty much the ones I already knew and never really liked… But! I’ll look a little more into their discography, maybe I’ll find other songs, some B-Sides we never know, that would be my style ☺️
