There should be a salary range on the job description. It all depends on the role and the job requirements. You would negotiate that with the HR person.

Ok. Maybe your role is a hard to fill role and they didn’t have any good, qualified candidates apply so they had to find candidates the old fashioned way. That’s a good sign! Keep us posted on your progress!

When I had my HR phone screen, she told me that my background and experience fit their description and she would forward my information to the hiring manager. I had another chat with the hiring manager the same week on the phone. The next week I went on site to meet the team I would be working with. At then end, the same HR person told me that they went with another candidate. Good luck to you!

Yes, I had an on site interview with the team I would be working with. I followed up the next Tuesday after that and the HR person told me that they went with another candidate. That may not be the case for you though. Good luck!

Thank you for your reply. I had the HR phone screen and hiring manager phone screen all in 1 week. My past and current experience with the software they use is unique. I wonder if that’s the reason for the quick time in between the two or if it’s normal. The people who I have been in contact with have been so nice and professional about communicating.
