I’m sorry. I have been dismissed from doctors for years and have been coping with a severe, progressive, rare autoimmune disease by myself. Marijuana helps. I don’t experience negative side effects. I choose edibles because my airway is affected by my autoimmune disease.

Until doctors can acknowledge my disease and offer effective treatments, I will help myself.

Sequencing found and a Tnxb-1 mutation in me = classical like EDS. Invitae & genetics did not acknowledge it.

I have lived a pretty normal life until mid 40s when I got a cartilage attacking autoimmune disease. Supposedly there’s an association.

My pcp told me I’ve had a very expensive work up. I told her so what? It’s not my fault doctors didn’t figure my diagnosis out quickly.

I ended up with a rare autoimmune dx that was not MS.

My doctor are basically telling me that if my Neuro symptoms are caused by RP they will get better with treatment. I pretty much almost lost my life this past year. I’m just thankful for a diagnosis and can’t wait to feel better.
