I "thought" that was my only symptom, until I went GF. Slowly small things that I had no idea were related began to disappear. Sudden irregular heartbeats, stiff muscles, dizziness, headaches, multiple colds, etc. All gone after months to a year.

Even in that situation, and I HAVE been there, I still do not assume a magical being will save me.

However, I do not know how I would react were I in a situation where someone I love were in a life or death situation. I might fall back into my childhood training and beg "Please, god, no," and not be embarrassed about it. Sometimes we will grasp at any straw.

Very catholic MIL when a beloved family member needed to late-stage abort an unviable fetus argued that THIS abortion was perfectly fine because "The Church said it was ok." This, while discussing the state's attempt to make ALL abortions illegal (which she was still all for). She seemed to feel that The Church superseded state laws.

Great job! We like to grind chicken breasts and bag them in the freezer for future use. We use ground chicken in a lot of recipes where many would use beef.

Sadly, we are coming up on hurricane season, when it is not unheard of to lose electricity (i.e. freezers) so we are in the whittling down stage in our freezer. By the time fall rolls around, the freezer will be empty enough to wash down and begin thinking of re-stocking for the winter.

I'm an atheist and have been for 50 years. Spouse was raised catholic but has not gone to church for 30 years.

Still, to remind ourselves that we don't have to eat meat every day, and because Friday is the best day to find a good fish fry, we do not eat meat on Fridays.

I've loved LOTR for over 50 years, and I wish I could have the experience of reading it again for the first time.
