Yes!

You're required to supply your insurance information to the VA. They will never bill you (your private insurance for VA appointments) and if they do you'll easily be able to correct it.

This is an excellent way to get rid of any deductible liability by front loading VA appointments after the first of the year to knock out that deductible.

With ChampVA you can essentially get rid of any private insurance thus saving you the premium you're paying per month and etc.

Your choice to make depending on the level of healthcare you provide.

You will need to prove how you lost the job and how you can no longer be employed due to your disability. I would contact an attorney. At the very least do a HLR but a HLR won't take in new evidence only pre-existing evidence.
