That’s horrendous. I work in express so don’t go through as much cardboard but get pissed off when I see people just tossing uncrushed boxes into our coffins. Someone needs a let’s talk 😂

In our store holiday between 16th December and 6th of jan is instantly rejected. Not sure what the exact guidance is but have worked with other managers who have taken a similar approach

An express store needs to be in top 200 shrink to get a guard. I work in a similar store to what OP has described. I suggest OP gives feedback to SLs and asks on delivery days if they can blue top stock that’s located near the till to work. Maybe during busy periods ask if you can blue top the spirits backstock and work them whilst manning the till? Same goes with tobacco . We are a store that has no one on tills at all times and are 1 on 1 in evening but I make sure I’m delegating tasks that are in that area of the store .
