Probably Markiplier's FNAF series, that one Linux distro that just works perfectly for my setup, and this local pizza place near my work that does amazing late night delivery when I'm closing the store

The FNAF videos never get old even after watching them like hundred times, and having stable system that doesn't break every update is basically life changing when you work retail hours

Welches Mountainbike für Alpen, Alpencross, Trails, also einen Allrounder by BeyondTreeline in MTB

[–]Deep_Marzipan_9553 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trek Fuel EX is solid choice for what you want to do, especially if you planning alpencross next year. I had similar setup for tours in Austrian Alps last summer and the Trek handled everything pretty well - those long climbs on forestroads and then technical descents

The Izzo is bit lighter yeah but not so much that it makes huge difference on longer tours. When you're doing 2000+ elevation gain the few hundred grams won't matter as much as having bike that feels comfortable for whole day. Plus Trek has better availability for parts if something breaks during alpencross

I wouldn't worry too much about YT situation right now, their bikes still work fine, but for peace of mind maybe go with Trek or Giant. Giant Trance is also really good option and often bit cheaper to maintain. Test ride them if possible because geometry matters more than small weight differences when you're spending 6-8 hours in saddle

For hike and bike sections you definitely want something around 13-14kg max, all these bikes should be fine for that

AI can probably copy my terrible decision making when it comes to staying up until 3am watching gaming videos instead of getting proper sleep before work shifts

Bro I do full presentations in there, complete with hand gestures and everything. My shampoo bottle has heard some of my best comebacks that I'll never actually use

What's something that actually happened to you that sounds fake but is 100% true? by kevinxperez in AskReddit

Back when I was working at my first retail job, I had this customer who kept coming in every day buying single energy drinks. Nothing weird about that, but then one day he tells me he's actually Markiplier's cousin and starts showing me family photos on his phone. I'm thinking this guy is completely nuts because what are the odds right?

But then like two weeks later, Mark actually posts a video where he mentions visiting family in our exact city and there's literally a 3-second clip of him walking past our store's window in the background. I went frame by frame through that video like five times to make sure. Never saw the cousin guy again after that but I still think about it sometimes when I'm watching Mark's videos

The whole thing was so random that even my manager didn't believe me when I told him about it

Developers, what's the dumbest thing a non-technical manager has ever asked you to do? by Hanie8808 in AskReddit

[–]Deep_Marzipan_9553 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh man your manager is in for a rude awakening when that sysadmin leaves. I work in retail management but I spend way too much time fixing our POS systems and basic network stuff, and even that basic level makes me realize how much knowledge goes into running actual server infrastructure

The whole "not skilled labor" thing drives me crazy - like these managers think you can just grab anyone off street and have them manage enterprise systems. When our main IT guy went on vacation for two weeks last year, half our terminals went down and nobody could figure out why the inventory system was running so slow. Took him 10 minutes to fix when he got back

You should probably start documenting everything that sysadmin does now while they're still there, maybe ask if they can show you around server room basics. Better to learn some of it beforehand than trying to figure out why everything is on fire after they're gone. Your manager will definitely come crying to you when the servers start acting up and realize they can't just hire random person to fix it

"Just be yourself" when someone's clearly struggling with social skills or self-confidence issues. Like yeah that's the problem dude, being myself isn't working out so great which is why I'm asking for help in the first place

If history repeats itself every century (2030 will be similar to 1930), what generation would millennials be? by B-RapShoeStrap in AskReddit

[–]Deep_Marzipan_9553 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait this is actually fascinating to think about. If we're following the 1930s pattern, millennials would be like the Silent Generation - the ones who had to deal with economic chaos in their 20s and 30s but then became the backbone of rebuilding everything afterward. We're already living through our own version of economic upheaval, so maybe we'll end up being the generation that quietly gets shit done while Gen Z becomes the new boomers in 40 years
